I can hardly see the sun setting here. you should have waited for more dramatic light. the horizon is tilting to the right and the boat is distractive.

Thank you for your constructive comments. In Nova Scotia, days are very long in this period and the cruise was ended before it made dark.

For the horizon which tilts to the right, I believed that I could not manipulate the photo then..... Regards Christine

Hi Christine, I dropped by after you rated one of my images. My eye was caught by this lovely image of an old yacht heading back in the early evening light. You have captured a lovely moment with wonderful composition and lovely colours. A truly beautiful image – well done!

I think this is a very serene picture to look at. Lovely, calm. Soft colours. I do like the bow of the boat in the picture. It gives the picture a feeling of movement and a sense of direction. Best regards.
