janusz1 0 Posted October 8, 2008 How beautifull and nice of you to pay homage... I feel the same though not necessarily being confined to handicraftsmen alone... just hard working people... In particular those working on the soil... :) (Knut Hamsun "Solt of Earth", Van Gough "Potato Eaters") Regards :) Link to comment

andrea allison 0 Posted November 5, 2008 The softness and beauty of the Rose against the hard working worn glove makes me think of how hard and beautiful life can be. Nicely done . Kindest Regards Andrea Link to comment

mbh 0 Posted February 21, 2010 It's interesting about this particular photograph. I've seen it before of course when I've enjoyed your portfolio. And I'm sure I had no negative thoughts about it, it just didn't strike me personally when I saw it. I think I wasn't ready to fully appreciate it. Today, while looking at one of your new photographs (at least for me), the Indian, I hit the back arrow and this photograph popped up in my vision. It had a stunning impact this time. I was like, "Wow." Is this new? Very dramatic impact for me and then, I had to laugh, because I knew I had seen it before. It just didn't stick when I saw it last time. I think this tells me, it's not just the skill and creativity of the photographer, sometimes, we as the viewer have to be ready appreciate what is before us. Excellent photograph! Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted March 25, 2010 Wonderful shot.........great mix of textures, colors.......from the very 'rough' to the very 'feminine' rose....congrats, Gail Link to comment
jorge_fernandez3 1 Posted March 31, 2010 The contrast of the mundane, old and messy with the delicate beauty makes for an extraordinary presentation my friend. Karolos every one of your images is a very well selected piece of art!!! THEY ALL BELONG IN A GALLERY. Congratulations!!! Warm regards. Link to comment
trisha jean-angela 5 Posted August 8, 2010 This photo makes quite an impact and really conveys emotions. I love the contrast of the beautiful and fragile rose cradled in the worn glove and set against the worn and textured wood. First rate image! Thank you for sharing. :) Link to comment
jrickert 2 Posted September 3, 2011 A friend of mine mentioned you, so I decided to take a look at your portfollio. This photo caught my eye. To me it represents both strength and gentleness. I think the title is perfect. Visions of a muscular man without a shirt cradling a newborn come to mind. Peace to you. --Janice Link to comment
