henderson 0 Posted September 18, 2008 Beautiful shot, Christine! The sharpness is excellent, and the depth of field works very well to isolate the subject. Nicely composed, and great colors. Probably the only thing I'd do would be to clone out the bright hilights in the top right corner... they're a bit distracting. Still, a beautiful shot... one to be proud of. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted September 25, 2008 How pretty this is with such vivid colors. I would maybe cropped or filled in with same leaf coloring the upper right corner out for that white area is somewhat a distraction to the nicely composed butterfly and flower. Maybe if you would fill in with a dark solid color all around the butterfly and flower it would really make this photo pop! Still, a very pleasing shot. Link to comment
rebekah1 0 Posted September 27, 2008 This is a great photo of a Peacock butterfly which I have not seen before because they are found mostly in Europe and Asia. The sharpness, color, and depth-of-field are excellent; the only suggestion I have, as others have suggested, is to possibly crop or clone out the upper-right corner and maybe even lower-left, otherwise great shot. Thanks for your comments and ratings on my recent Viceroy butterfly. Welcome to PN. I look forward to seeing many more of your wonderful photos. Blessings from the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, Rebekah B. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted March 23, 2009 Wow, lots of comments on this shot. I don't think I would be taking a big risk in saying this is an excellent shot. Well done. Link to comment
