as a chess player, i like the photo! but i imagine a pair of eyes between the curtains staring to the queen with a feeling of success or hate or glad. nice work!

This is very interesting. The impression that causes the composition (forceful colors, setting, scene, the suspended board...) remembers to me the pictorial style of Giorgio de Chirico. He is very original and very shining technically. Very curious.

This is such a great image I put in my favorite file. Have you thought of doing another rendition of this setting and calling it Opening Knight with the Knight being the initial move on the baord. Again fantastic image, highest regards, rek.
