d_poinsett 0 Posted October 1, 2002 This is a good example of creative work with the much-maligned Photoshop or other selective focus techniques. The composition is entirely altered (and for the better) with this technique and begins to suggest s story. The large dark area at the bottom detracts from this fine work. I recommend cropping to only the top 1/3. Keep experimenting with this technique. Link to comment

fishinabarrel 0 Posted October 25, 2002 I quite agree that I went just a bit hog wild with the blurring. I was trying to reduce the picture of distracting elements, creating a painterly effect, and somehow put more focus on the couple on the right. I could improve the that big gulf smack down the middle though, with a little dodging. Link to comment
