Digit the cat

Just want some input on this image. Have never submitted anything

for critique. I like the high contrast, husband disagrees. Would

like some other view points.

I really like this - the reddish background around the right side of the kitty's face is very nice. A little longer DOF would have sharpened the fur in front but I think that's a minor thing with this shot.

I like this very much: it's very moody. What's the kitten thinking? As others have pointed out, I would have liked to see more detail on the white muzzle, probably not possible with the digicam without underexposing the black fur.
