Maybe the blue is a little strong on foreground, but it really makes those eyes pop. Excellent detail, great shot!

To me, this is a very ODD macro picture, because it looks so much like a studio shot. Obviously you even used a red fill-in light ! :-) So, how not to wonder : how much did you actually pay this fly to pose for you ? Or was it dead before the photo session and you just placed it there...? Or what's the story ?

 

Bottom line, the picture looks neat, odd, overly pretty, and it made me smile too, so you must have done something right...:-)
