jeremygray 0 Posted August 23, 2008 This is an image from sunset of Nubble Head Light in York, ME. Harsh critique is much appreciated, and very welcome. I'm here to improve my work, so don't take it easy on me. Thanks in advance. Link to comment
emilia_pylkk_nen 0 Posted August 23, 2008 I think you did quit good overall job with it. Only thing got in my eyes is the position of the lighthouse, I think it is a bit too cornered where it is now. And of course, when you mentioned the lighthouse in the title, i would presume that it would be in the leading role here. The soft blue "look" fits well for this kind of image.-Emilia Link to comment
jeremygray 0 Posted August 23, 2008 Thanks for the comment, much appreciated. Not to make excuses, but I composed the image in this way because there is a small house with a ski-lift type thing for crossing from the island the lighthouse is on to the mainland just outside the left frame of the image, I figured it would be distracting. Still though, I could have probably found a workaround. There's always next summer, I hope. Thanks again! Link to comment
