Green Tomatoes

Any thoughts? Yet another tired draganized image? Too much like a

painting on black velver? I thought the treatment brought out the

roundness of the tomatoes.

I think you are right Dave, it does enhance the "roundness" of the tomatoe. Very 3d look. You know you can hang this next to your velvet Elvis and it would be beautiful!! :))) Regards....LJ (If I don't communicate for a few days, we have this Tropical Storm Fay coming in on us, we have already had so much rain in the past two weeks, that the additional rain and consistent wind may uproot a few trees therefore look out power lines)

they seem to stand out from the screen.

I used the trick of creating an inverted, blurred layer, then mistakenly dragged that layer down about 30 pixels. That made them pop out.

it really worked here, though. having techniques like that in your head makes you really adaptable.
