godfather 0 Posted August 27, 2008 You are a true master by capturing motion shots on stage. These have always so much texture and doesn't look anything like artificial. Just pure pleasure to view. Link to comment

laurentlacoste 0 Posted August 29, 2008 An beautiful picture in sepia, Pnina, for an eternal theme. It takes me back to the discussion we've had lately about my seashell collectors picture. The lighting of the stage emphasizes drama and places the image on a kind of dream-like state. Very well done. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted August 29, 2008 Laurent, thanks! even though it is different, it has an analogy to your shell collectors... as I wrote before, how I see my work with the dance and theatre groups, I defined it as "life as a dance", but as theatre too of course. There are sources of life narratives in many of them. I like the analogy in your comment. Link to comment

manny_guillen 0 Posted September 29, 2011 This is an excellent example of slow shutter speed. The subject in motion is blurred and the dept of field is out of focus, which give the image a surreal feeling. Also, the figure’s face expression is very intense which adds on to this dreamlike theme. The use of sepia composition works prefect because it takes away from the other colors and the viewer focuses on the highlights and shadows. The subject indicates rhythm, and the viewer’s eye follows the subject from what he’s reaching to his reflection. This photograph is beautifully done. Link to comment
