single photos Hummingbird Raspberry

I caught an unexpected moment with this one!

Beaut shot and especially because you got its tongue as well.

Great depth and clarity, and of course the tongue is what makes this picture stand out. There's just two little things I wish were different, and one of them you could still change. The bright bar that the bird is sitting on just seems a bit too blown out, if you could dim it down some and maybe bring out some textures that would pull this composition together more for me. As for the other thing- not much you can do about it now- but I do wish there were just a bit more space on the right side of the picture, the tongue just almost touches the frame and this is a bit distracting to me. Otherwise and excellent capture, I love how much detail you've captured in the birds freathers and that little reflective light in the eye, it's wonderful. Regards, Deborah
