carlwakefield 0 Posted August 21, 2008 Super idea and picture which was well thought out. I assumed it was selective colour was stuck in the photoshop thinking until I read above. Your solution was simple and better. I like the use of light and detail is spot on, I also like the sharp pencil points near the sensitive unprotected eye. Regards Carl Link to comment

Although colored pencils are a cliche in photography, pitting them on a B&W portrait print near the eye is totally original and powerful. Trying to understand the mystery and appeal of this image, I remembered the book "Visual perception" by Dr. Rudolf Arnheim and would like to recommend this work to you.
