Yes, it's the echo of the rust and white colours among all the blue that makes this for me. Fantastic use of colour.

 

By way of feedback, I'm not sure if I find the comp just a little uncomfortable. I'm not suggesting sticking to thirds but maybe just a little more space to the left of the tower might help (assuming there's noting ugly there that's left out for a reason) or a little less to the right. It's a minor point on a great shot though.

Whoa, one could get lost in those deep inky blues. I really enjoyed looking at the larger version, and how the shore and the old lighthouse catch the highlights of the sun.

Love the blues and the soft light. I really like the curving shoreline, leading me into the photograph. The long exposure gives the sea an additional softness. A wonderful photograph.
