jimgardner 0 Posted August 15, 2008 Who are these people who rate this a 5? Average. This is a wonderful photo. It has four levels of interest. The flowers in the foreground, the red flowers, the meadow and then the mountains. This is a treat to me eyes. 7/6 and placed in with my favorites. Link to comment
frivoal 0 Posted August 15, 2008 Beautifull landscape and Amazing colors. I am impressed. Link to comment

babernethy 0 Posted August 15, 2008 A very technically correct photo. Well done. The Depth of field is ideal. It puts you there. The foreground is in focus with the range off in the distance. Beautiful color. It deserves a frame and a wall. Link to comment
stuart_bellamy 0 Posted August 15, 2008 Beautiful photo, the blue flowers lead your eye right into the lake and through the rest of the image. Good DOF and colours look great. Just one thing bothers me, the bottom left space is a bit bare. Otherwise 2 thumbs up! Link to comment
vincentfavre 2 Posted August 15, 2008 Excellent composition ! A very nice image, but it seems to be a little bit blue on my screen. Maybe the color temperature is too cold. Although it's a beautiful landscape Brian. Vincent Link to comment

lonebearimages 0 Posted August 16, 2008 This rocks! A solid 7/7 for me; and it goes in the 'Favorites'! Great lead-in - purple daisies, the lake, the light on the mountains, and then to the cloud. Couldn't be better, IMHO. Thanks for sharing. Cheers! Chris Link to comment

wild_moments 0 Posted August 21, 2008 Great work Brian. Interesting though...this picture is much more saturated than many other ones in your portfolio. Obviously the composition is amazing and so is the subject matter. I think you could do better on the colors. Well, at least on my monitor. I think the foreground is too dark, it almost looks like a blacklight picture. Also, you could get rid of the that little bit of purple flower petal sticking out on the right side of the photo just the main group of the three flowers. It is distracting. I'd play with the shadow/highlights and also with the colors. Kind of looks HDR to me. Great picture man though I am not hating. Just trying to give you some constructive feedback. Link to comment
whydangle 0 Posted September 23, 2008 I might concur with Michael on the possible cropping of the flowers on the right, but I would like you to keep the colors as is. I think it expresses your creativity. I have photographed these flowers before and they do glow in the pre-dawn or dusk light. The depth here is what gobsmacks me! You are a lucky one, to be able to get up here from time to time. I have been here once many years ago, and it is a rockin place for photography. Great shot Brian! Link to comment
