All comments are welcome! Just general critique of it since i'm just

a beginning amateur. The lighting contrast is nicer on the real

print (as well as the face and lighting of the small figure), but my

scanner is just old and of quite bad quality...8) (1992, 300x300dpi,

24bit scanner, poor colour and contrast rendition) Couldn't be fixed

with Photoshop or Photopaint. Thanx everyone

the lighting is really nice it feel very soft and peaceful, a nice space for relaxing. the photo is able to transmit this impression, well done.

I think I would prefer this picture without the little toy thingy. Maybe there's a specific reason you've put it there, but I personally think it kind of ruins the great atmosphere you've created with the colours and the composition of this otherwise very nice picture

I agree with Chris. I would lose the toy figure, simplify the background elements, leaving just the brick wall and the drapes, and try again. And while you're at it maybe just a bit less exposure. You're on the right track and could have a nice shot but the toy figure reduces it to something less somehow.

Actually, during the same "photo-shoot" i've done it with the figure, w/o the figure w/ a larger depth of view, w/ a shallower depth of view and just about every combination including putting the figure in different postures and positions...8)
