This is a Foxglove, a widespread wildflower common in Canada and the USA. This is a nice specimen however I believe there is too much of a green tinge to this photo. I like the composition but I would work with the color settings a bit. Nice work.

Was the dew on the plant or did you spray it first. Looks great. I believe this is a jewelweed plant which can be used as a natural combatant to poison ivy. Also the seed pods explode upon touching and eject the seed in an attempt to reseed the plant.

Derek, you are correct, it is a Jewel Weed. Thanks for the information on the flower.

James, re the colouring, I try to do a minimum of retouching in Photoshop. The greens were pretty much what I saw when I took the photo. Of course our monitors may be different.
