greenpalm 0 Posted September 25, 2002 I just wanted to get some input on this photo. I had a lot of fun taking this shot. I suppose that makes me want to share. Thanks for your time. Julie Link to comment

kevin_kolosky 2 Posted September 25, 2002 I don't think you have to be a mother or a father to appreciate this photograph. It is wonderful. Kevin Link to comment
mike_sea 0 Posted October 1, 2002 Oh the innocence. It changes all too soon. I love the shot here how could you not. I hop ethe original is free from the blurr on the screnn due to the limit on file sizes. Despite the brilliance of the shot you have put it up for critique which tells me you'd like suggestions. Despite the fact that the child has a mind of its own, I would have somehow looked at trying to get the child looking at the bubbles yet still capture its face. The other suggestion is to have snapped when the bubbles were closer to the child. The gap seems like they are two seperate subjects and don't draw together in the shot. Keep it up though Mike Sea Link to comment
becca34cat 0 Posted October 1, 2002 What a personality! And his stance just makes me grin--he looks like a classical roman statue. Very good lighting. As soon as I saw this I mentally turned up the contrast by a lot. That is my personal preference. Also the tone of the black is cool, bordering on bluish. Again, just my preference, but I'd like to see it warmed up. Isn't he a little Napoleon!! Really neat shot. Link to comment
helen_back 0 Posted October 8, 2002 I agree with earlier posts that one of the best things about this photo is the way the infant is striking such a classical pose. Anyone who thinks the paintings of the early Renaissance are overdone and unrealistic needs to look at this baby's stance! Very nicely done. Link to comment
uber photography 0 Posted October 24, 2002 The bubbles are great. I would like to see a bit more contrast in the image, everything is kinda greyish. Link to comment
