Beautiful work and great scene with powerful framing .If I would take this shot I perfered to take it at afternoon , not moon Time , maybe that lighting was better at that moment, and also like to have more parts fom sKy,But yet really great image with powerful composition and position with also beautiful landscape scene.Regards

I really like the image. It might just be me, but I like a little more contrast...the colors seem a bit too faded. Maybe try a little more saturation. To me, the image is more like a A: 5.8 & O: 6. IMHO. Thanks! Dejan

REPLY: I see you posted a V2 of the image. This I really agree with! Very nice!!

Koushik: Thank you very much. I'm glad I picked up on the steel sheet too.

Jose: And thank you for your visit.

Glauco: Thank you!

Pawel and Grazyna: Thank you much!

Cherlyn: The mountains always seem unreal to me for their size. Thanks.

Vicente: Wishing you the best dreams. Thanks for the poetry and view.

Richard: Much appreciated.

Deb: Thank you for stopping in!

Ray: Thanks. I was hoping this was better.

Afshin: Thanks. I agree with the time of day, I didn't have that option. We just pulled off the road and I composed ten shots or so. I appreciate your comments!

Emmanuel: Me too! Thanks for the visit my friend.

Dejan: As for the original, I agree with. Definitely could have benefitted from better lighting. Thanks.

Nosotros hemos tenido sueños, is beautiful, the open space is an invitation to travel there, Joseph, wonderful contrast.

Version II down in the comments is the more powerful image to me. Just got back from a weekend in the hills north of Lee Vining. God's Country. Thanks.

Joseph, the picturesque background really contrasts the foreground desertion. I like how you've heightened the mood in the second rendering. Regards.

This is photo caught my eye for it definitely has a beauty of its own! The eye leads nicely from the tin on the ground, to the desert growth, then the nice old house (old is beautiful!) and finally to the nice coloring of the mountains and the blue sky. I really like this one. You have an excellent eye in finding the beauty anyplace.

Interesting composition and title!! I guess I prefer the colour scheme of the Version 2 to this one...

As I said on the other comment, yes looks very nice to me because I'm a loner who likes to ride his horse with his blanket on the saddle and a Winchester 73 in its holster!
