Mid Summer Sunset

A beautiful sunset following a day of rain in the beautiful High Country of

Northern Arizona

wow! what a terrific sky. truely wonderful colour. the only thing that lets it down is, of course, its only a sky. there are no middle ground or foreground elements, so its limited in that regard, but still very beautiful of course.

Beautiful Sky. You shooting with NDF's ? I think you could save a bit of detail in the ground portion of the shot with them. Just one incredibally beautiful sunset! I have to get to Flagstaff! Our sunsets run medicore to oh hum. No real space in the city to shoot. Gotta run 30 miles out of Vegas to get a good shot...RAY

Thanks Ray, I do like my sunsets, I tried once and only once to shoot some around Vegas and there's just to much light in the evenings. Sometime When I have a lot of time i'm going to try some from that scenic pullout just south of Hoover Dam!

You got to do just that. Beautiful sunsets out by the Dam. With the rocks and cliffs of Black Canyon you can't go wrong. I'm thinking the next time I get a night off doing the same thing. But I'm waiting for the clouds! See you on the trail...RAY
