joseph_verdesca 0 Posted August 10, 2008 Very cool chaotic impression of the square, with an edgy crumpled / singed / discarded / smeared / worn (yet still vibrant and sharp) effect. Given the relative clarity of the commercial signs above (sharp legible lettering with vibrant and relatively intact swaths of color) in relation to the people below (who are much more distorted / abstracted / smeared), the sense that I read from the picture is of the deleterious effect of commercialism on people. I don't know if that's where you were coming from, but it's a well-executed work. Link to comment
paolo carpi 0 Posted August 30, 2008 Usually I dont love the "digital alterations" but this is what we really see in Times square.... Congratulations, Paolo Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted November 13, 2008 There aren't many people who have shown such mastery in using PS treatments to produce a desired effect. The sense of ordered chaos here really conveys the frenetic activity and vibrant color of Time Square. Link to comment
