mplonsky 0 Posted October 2, 2002 I attached a fast normal lens (Pentax 50mm 1.4) in the reverse position (using a macro coupling ring) to the Canon G1 digital. The normal lens acts like a high powered, high quality close-up lens when reversed. Link to comment

ryan_jackson 0 Posted November 9, 2002 I've got a minolta 50mm/1.7...I wonder if that could do the same? What sort of adapter is needed? is it dependent on the thread size of the lens? My 50mm uses 55 mm filters, so I suspect that canon's 58mm adapter wouldn't do the trick. Link to comment
