Moonrise at Long Beach Island, New Jersey

(Dec 21, 1999. Long Beach Island, New Jersey) The moon rising in

background was the last full moon of the millenium that occured on

the Solstice in 1999.

Great appearance on the surf here, flowing down the lip of the bank there. I think a slightly different angle might have worked better (one that has the ledge leading out more into the middle of the photo rather than across so much) but who am I to say? Good looking photo.

I like best the way we see the water spilling through the pilings changes as we go out towards the break.

I like it but it leaves me wanting something more. I would suggest either cropping tighter to take the picture again with a boat or sunset or something to grap you at the end of the pilings. JMO Dave
