For what I gather, green is the color of Islam. Green is the color of life fertility and

renewal of the earth.

Mosques are frequently decorated with green tiles.

Therefore, I chose green..........Thank you in advance for any comments.

Very interesting piece. Mostly the tight framing and the green tone fashinates me. This has again that oldish feeling all around it. May i ask what made you choose this kind of tight framing?

Warm rgs Tero.

The building itself Tero, at the time I took this, I was finishing my studies as an architect, and was conducting a small project, where one of the objectives was to decompose each building in their more elemental parts, hence this was done like that from the beginning. Interestingly, if I chose to include the upper corner in the frame, the image didn't work as well; which got me trying many different angles at the time, for I wanted to have it in the frame no matter what. So in a way, it is old, though not by much. Thank for stopping by, and comment, I really appreciate it.

So, Paris again. As both are on the same bank and not too far from one another, it made me think about your National Library shots. A very nice view of a famous Parisian building, Juan Carlos. Nice discovering your new posts. Nikon F3?

Thank you very much Florin, I'm really glad that you like it.

Laurent, Paris indeed! What a great city, as an architect visiting it was like being a kid loose in a toy store....so much to do and so much to see!!!!!

This was taken a few years ago, 10 or so, before digital......I used an F3 then, and still do form time to time (you may say it's like the first love....the one that you never forget); also shot in the same trip when I took some photos of the Bibliotheque Nationale, like the one you wrote about.

I'm trying to scan and post some of my work from the past, so look up for more of Paris in the near future. Bonne chance!

I like the tight crop and coloring which both contribute to a strong rendering of a quite common motif. Excellent work Juan!

Juan Carlos, I came back from my trip same days ago and I saw your rates and critique on my photos....really thanks!!

Among your photos I choose this one, I like it very much because of the framing (you have a special look for this type of subjects) and the colour...I imagine U used a filter...

Hope to read U soon
