tonmestrom 4 Posted August 16, 2008 you sure now how to accentuate femininity in your work. A scene from Antonioni indeed springs to mind. As such it's absolutely great stuff. I do think however that she's bend over a bit too deep to look really comfortable let alone sensual. Her posture now looks a bit too forced. Link to comment
elportebonheur 0 Posted August 17, 2008 Thank you Ton for coming by, I appreciate your comment and considerations. Concerning the posture the following: I might look for you forced on first glance but one and other has to do with the size of the young lady, 180cm, and the height of the fountain - 120cm max, I guess. I had not the intention to 'produce a sensual shot' at all - but catch the momentum at the fountain. However, thanks for your thoughts, Ton. Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted September 11, 2008 Daughter? I did not think you were old enough to have children! This is a very good image that is very pleasing to the eye. So congratulations are in order. I am not sure what you could have done (I want to learn if anyone has ideas) concerning the very bright white areas: the railing in the background but more specifically the area just above her left knee. Trust me that this is a very small distraction. Best regards, Link to comment
elportebonheur 0 Posted September 19, 2008 Haha, Tony! Thank you for the compliments! :) Concerning the bright white areas: I have no solution. All light you see comes from the street illumination and the white skirt is surely not improving the situation. But that's how it is whith an instantannée I guess. Thanks anyway, Tony and best regards, El Link to comment

Christal1664882414 0 Posted October 15, 2008 I find this really amusing. What guys have to understand is how we women actually have a hard time drinking from a water fountain. We're always juggling things in our arms and having to keep our hair out of our faces as we lean over......yet she manages to do this maneuver with grace and style. This seems to be a very spontaneous shot.......it's a great capture. The white skirt is a little bright, but only in front. The back still allows her shape to be seen, and the other excellent B&W tones make up for the one bright spot. Link to comment
