Beautiful shot, Eric. These colors seem perhaps a bit too intense, but I love the rolling hills of the Palouse!

Causes a feeling of freedom in me. Fine process with saturated colors and light/ shadow interplay.

This attracted me because my husband and I will be in the Palouse area in a couple of weeks, among other places. This is certainly a beautiful area, but for my taste this has too much saturation to it and no longer has a believable look to it. I'm assuming this was taken very late in the day. Nevertheless, after looking at your portfolio, I'm a huge fan of your work!

Thanks for your comments and critiques. Believe it or not, there wasn't much saturation added to this image, a little in the clouds and I brought out the reds and brows a little, but that was it. I was using a Singh ray color combo filter. Having the polarizer with the color intensifier is almost like shooting velvia but with a DSLR. This filter or the regular color intensifier never leave my lens now.
