squiver 0 Posted July 29, 2008 I know, it's a bit vibrant. It's straight from the camera though; the only thing I did was turn down the saturation a little. On this particular evening the sky was totally overcast - a thick, dark gray blanket with no distinguisable clouds. I went out anyway, hoping that the sun would break through eventually. And just before sunset, it did. The gray cover turned into clouds and the clouds turned into fire. What you can't see here is that it is already raining quite a bit; I was able to shoot for one or two minutes and then all hell broke loose. I have never seen such vibrant colors in the sky before. Shot in Namibia. You comments are appreciated as always. Link to comment

whosecameraisforpix 0 Posted July 29, 2008 Absolutely fantastic! I would also love to see that tree by itself with this background. Thanks for your excellent suggestion on my corkscrew picture - I agree with you and cropping it does increase its appeal. Best wishes - Sekhar Link to comment
