Sunset Lingers

Wow! Linda,this spectacular.

Nice work Linda. I was about to say, "I'll bet it would look great if larger". But never mind that thought because it DOES look great larger.

Linda, it looks like the sunset entered the construction...the timing and execution is great . The shadow in the FG, the roof and the dark clouds behind are well accetuated by the light of sunset. really a legendary sight ;-)) Very well composed.

The balance between the interior and exterior lighting nears perfection. Beautiful work!

This is so nice! So peaceful. I like very much the light from within the church and the glow around the tower bell. Great colours, warmth and drama.

 

The only thing would be to straighten the tower bell.

Linda.. I was flipping through photo's I rated quite some time ago, and came across an image of yours that i remembered in great detail.. Usually a sign with me of a capture that introduced me to ones portfolio. After returning to yours I remembered instantly the depth and interest your photo's expressed to me. Alas, here is another example.. The glow and radiance of the windows accented by the ribbon of light around the clouds. The White, but not perfect white of the church.. Crisp, but still believable.. What more can I say.. You have an eye that has evolved and become tuned in to your surroundings..

Fred, thanks for looking, I'm glad you like it. This is a much photographed church on the Kamloops Indian Band land. Every evening at sunset the sun shines through the stained glass and for that moment it is real.

It's as if God were shining his light down upon this church. It's quite an amazing scene, both the composition and the processing. I'd love to see it straightened up just a bit. The vertical lines of the church and steeple seem to lean to the right a little. Nevertheless, this is very nice work!

Thanks! This is a much photographed church on the Kamloops Indian Band land. It was taken from an open train that slowed down almost to a stop just as the sun was coming through the glass and steeple.

This is an amazing warm light here,to be alone and think for what we are here on this Earth,all my best,Radu.
