I like the composition of this autumn scene. You had a very intriguing light, for this shot (I hope it's not PotoShoped). The sky bellow the branches is bright, while it is rather dark above the lower branches. Was there a cloud, strategically placed there?

I wonder if a deeper DOF wouldn't have given the image more depth.

Nice picture anyway.

This is a beautiful shot - the kind of scene that's just made for TMAX. I love the wild patterns in the tree branches and the kids, for me, add a lot to what would still be an interesting nature shot. It does seem to be slightly out of focus to me, though - or maybe that's just the film grain - but it's still a great shot.

I'd really like to see a larger version, to see detail in the people. I love the way the person's arm draws attention to the figure in the tree and then my eye is slowly pulled back to the two figures who stand out clearly against the monotonic sky. With out the pointing arm I think the curve of the tree branch would be too strong, and the portion of frame under the branch would dominate the frame. Did you try cropping it at all? Any number of different croppings occur to me some much more severe than others. I don't know that any would necesarily be better than the full frame, but I would like to see some other interpretations. The only other thing is I think maybe I tiny bit more contrast would improve the photo (I would try these myself, but I don't have easy access to imaging software right now). over all very nice.

Brad, you have my eye.

A very difficult shot to have captured and you have it well.

The detail in the tree is fantastic as is your selection of location. I am hoping you placed the children in the shot with purpose as that is the feel of the shot to my eye.

I don't know I can offer any suggestion to you on this work.

Even the child pointing my eye to the other in the tree works.
