On the rocks

Yes, they're a bunch of rocks in the frozen sand...but what do you

think? Do you find this interesting and aesthetically pleasing? Do

This is actually very nice, Laura. Great shadows and textures, and I think this is technically the best shot you have uploaded as well - at least in this folder. Did you try a few other compositions for this on the same day ? If so, it could be interesting to compare them.

The composition works well, but may not be absolutely perfect here; unfortunately I don't know what was around, which makes it difficult to analyze. Basically, I would be looking for a way to move the brightest rock a bit away from the center, and if that wouldn't work, I might suggest to go a bit tighter on this rock... Not sure... Textures and the light are wonderful. Try a very mild burning in the highlight of the brightest rock. That's about it. Good shot. Regards.
