Please let me know what you think. I am not happy with what the

scanner did to the photo. I can not seem to get it to look like the

original.

This photo in print is really very sharp. I tried to scan so that I could stay in the Photo.net guidelines but it caused my photo to be a little blurry. If you can give me any techniques on scanning I would appreciate it.

The parallel clouds have a kind of gradient effect with the orange filter. Gives the whole thing both vertical tree symmetry and horizontal symmetry with the clouds vs. the ripples in the water. Wyoming sure looks pretty from here :)

I scan at 6" @ 300dpi, after adjustments, I resize file info to 6" @ 100dpi in Jpeg, This usually gets me right in the range to upload to photo.net (This shot is a beauty!)

I am just guessing of course but I think if you had snapped the same shot a little earlier it would have resulted in a sharper but less colorful image. I am splitting hairs of course its just my opinion.

Very pretty, but sadly (on my screen) not in focus.

No matter what the scanner did, you can tell it is a stunning photo. I see you rated one of my WY pics - thanks! What an incredible state it is.

Nice scene. The silhouetted mass of trees -- very effective. As others have said, would prefer a sharper image.
