sergei_pechersky 0 Posted September 21, 2002 Hi All. This photo was my another try in studying how to shoot water. Hope you don't mind looking at it and tell me what may be right or wrong with it. Is there anythig I need to consider to improve its composition, colour balance, etc.? One of the feedback I received was too much water shown in the pool. What do you think? I appreciate your input. Thanks. Link to comment
robert_destefano 0 Posted September 21, 2002 I love the whispy feel of a slow speed picture of water. There's just a touch of green at the top center... I like that too. Would be nice to have more, but if it isn't there... Try taking a sheet of paper, and holding it horizontally in the white foam at the bottom of the falls so that it covers up the pool. What do you think? My opinion, crop out the pool on this one. Link to comment

jay_patel 0 Posted October 28, 2002 Brilliant colors. Nice exposure. Since, you have used circular polorizer, the only other recommendation I have is to use perhaps a Gradutated ND filter to darken the bottom of the falls. I have on several occasions used cricular polarizer and a ND Grad with good results. You can check http://www.photo.net/photodb/folder?folder_id=222059 for some examples. Link to comment
