In general this is an interesting photo in that it is a perfect example of today's teenagers... equipped with a zippo and her ipod. But I think it would be much more powerful if there was more interaction between the girl and the photographer. For example it would be much stronger if she were looking directly into the camera.

 

Also, the focus seems to be sharpest on her hand and the scarf, rather than her face or the cigarette.

Fine documentary photo, A lot of content in a simple image. The earbuds, the lighter and the old-looking calligraphy...
