A flock of raccoons?

bruce_lucas

Pre-focused camera to approximate distance (about 18ft) indoors, stopped down to f/5.6 to increase DOF, then stepped outside and shot at ISO 320 with built-in flash. Brightened, reduced, and sharpened in PSP.

As a friend said, "that's what you get for putting your squirrel

feeder on the fence like that."

Would it be improved by editing out the "white-eye"?

I would be tempted to add white eyes to the third raccoon instead of taking them away -- their looking right into the flash adds to the caught in the act aspect. Are you planning to show this photo to the friend?

I always take the white eyes out if I get them

in an animal shot ... but I agree with Kathy on

this one, the white eyes show they were cought in

the act!

I wouldn't add white to the third one

though.

Really cute shot!

I think I would crop the top, just to tighten up composition, Not sure but this looks like it leans to the right a little. But, I like it!
