Shadow of Eavhal

I made this image after waiting for about an hour for the light to

illuminate the foreground and leave the mountain of Eavhal behing

shrouded in darkness and shadow,

This is a wonderful scene with the light. The background almost looks like in black and white. I suspected you used an ND filter but if this is without the filter it must have looked awesome in real! Well done.

Thanks for the comments _ I used a galen and Rowell 3 stop ND Grad to hold back the sky and the mountain, although this was purely to convey the feeling that i had when i was stood there. The light in the foreground was fleeting and bright and I hope that this is conveyed !
