This flower girl was just standing in front of me holding her bouquet

like that and I thought the similarity was striking. Probably won't

end up in an album, but I'm happy with it! Just looking for general

opinions...

well jill, its rather nice, i like it. did you ask her to pose for it ? something in the picture tells me that her muscles are tensed, thats taking a lil bit from the otherwise 'perfect' composition.

This is a very cool juxtaposition. I also like the way the converging lines on the floor meet up at the flowers. It gives the photo a nice focal point. Good job!

It's funny how life sometimes throws good photos at you. This is one instance where quick thinking got the picture. I don't think the girl looks tense, she's just holding flowers.

I don't know if it captures boredom either. May be the other critiquers are reading too much into the photo.

The composition is really cool as you have the converging lines leading to the flowers and not the girl (or woman?).

Good job Jill, glad to see you posting stuff again.

Nice shot! Works as an abstract, as well. I wish there was a little more context to the shot but your caption helps. I have a similar shot from the front in my "Black and White" folder.

Definitely original and very special. The round swirly shapes compliment each other and the rough pavement anchors the picture. This is a great picture!

geez, i thought i was looking at a woman with two heads for a moment...really an amazing resemblance between the bouqet and her hair. Great image.

funny and great, fantastic shot, perfectly framed! and I like the way she holds her head, as if her hair were even heavier than the bouquet! :)
