talescaper 0 Posted October 26, 2008 This is a much better shot, with some context and consideration in the composition, even though it's not sharp at all and still contains a lot of distracting elements (most notably the fence in the background). If you had tried a slightly more radical angle, you'd have been there, I think, despite the poor focus (which is common in point and clicks and one of the reasons that I recommend analogue cameras in the evening) Link to comment
roy sydiaha 0 Posted October 26, 2008 Thanks again for comments. As Irene and I wandered the river bank looking for good spots, this rock called to us. It was under a street light, and perfectly aligned with the 'castle' hotel in the back. Not one to meditate, she just struck this pose 'cause I think the weather and situation called for it. Anyway, when I tried to get the fence out of the background I lost the hotel, so oh well. I have $100 saved for a new camera, even though I don't think I won't get a film camera, as I don't have the time and money for film. But the clarity should improve with a newer and more expensive digital. Thanks, Roy Link to comment
