Environment: Partly cloudy, 3:50pm sunlight.Exposure: 1/500th at f11.Exposure compensation -2 1/3 EV.Flash: SB 600 flash placed 3 feet away and just below birdhouse.Photographed from a distance of 10 feet or so with my 85mm lens and then cropped significantly.Overall adjustments in lightroom.Best viewed larger.

I annoyed this poor sparrow for about an hour while she fed herbabies. I used an sb600 placed not far from the birdhouse to light itup, and camped out on a platform about 4 feet off the ground, 10 feetaway to take some pics. She did not like me very much.
