Zoomed and Cropped in in Photoshop. Looking for critiques of this

Nice, different kitty shot.

 

I would have like to have everything from the tip of her nose to the back of her mouth in sharp focus, but that might be challenging (or near-impossible) at this magnification.

And that Kodak 800 stuff is rather grainy... Try some real B&W film instead. Even Fuji Neopan 1600 would have produced more detail. Or if you insist on shooting color negs, try Fuji NPZ (professional 800 speed film).

 

But the idea is really good. It's definitely different, and I like the composition. If more sharpness and less grain is not possible with your setup, then this is definitely the best you can get!! Excellent.

great photo! it's really original, i don't think that more sharpness would have been better, the grain and narrow depth of field make some images more dramatic. I like it.
