rbanfield 0 Posted July 23, 2008 The 3 Amigos ( ChrisH, Leo Burkey and myself) had just spent a great afternoon in the Bristlecone Pine forest atop White Mt. We were heading back to camp and we spotted this little stand of trees that were just begging to be photographed. I really liked the bristlecones and admire the way they are able to grow for thousands of years in such a hostile enviroment. Thanks for looking and reading. Comments, of course, are appreciated...RAY Link to comment
lonebearimages 0 Posted July 23, 2008 Great shot! I like how we all took fairly different perspectives on these trees. I like your road in the background too. Nice layering in your composition, Amigo. Cheers! Chris Link to comment
chrisalmerini 0 Posted July 23, 2008 Great idea and the exposure is right on! To get a little critical- crop the right side to remove the brown thing- you probably missed it since the rest of the image is so strong. Very neat idea! Chris Link to comment
leo burkey 0 Posted July 25, 2008 I agree with Chris' assessment! Nice placement of the road and your processing is right on! Link to comment
rbanfield 0 Posted July 25, 2008 Guys, I had to thank you for your positive feedback on this shot. I have to agree with Chris A. I should have crop out the little brown tree stump on the right. Future posting with that crop is possible. Meantime will let it stand all alone. Thanks again...RAY Link to comment
