michaelx 0 Posted July 16, 2008 gorgeous model - awkward pose, weird lighting. Eye contact makes it interesting. Link to comment
GerrySiegel 868 Posted July 16, 2008 An odalisque I believe it is called. Very erotic, passive.langourous and seductive. Only thing, Frank, his Best Western chain doesn't provide such decor at their budget rates:-) Despite the tacky lamp, I like this nude study. Link to comment

GerrySiegel 868 Posted July 18, 2008 The pose I meant to say (and was not so clear methinks)is not unlike the painterly "odalisques." which were the loungelook of harem beauties. I think my sarcasm was possibly misfired when I said something like 'I wish the Best Western would provide such lovelies as her when I rent a room,' not knocking the basic furnishings of the room..... Frank, you may appreciate following Navy TDY joke. One of my buddies used to travel regularly to Manila during its wild and wooly days. He liked to tell about a harsh knock on his hotel door one night. Gruff voice challenged: " Do you have a woman in that room?" My friend " Why No!" " Okay, I'll get one thrown in, soon. Good evening." Well, more truth than fiction, ha ha Frank. Pose is not bad and brazen in a pleasant but still not un tasteful way, my opinion only. You know your subjects well. Link to comment
