Hi Gordon, An intriguing piece of work here. I especially like the look of some of the "lines" folding over the others. I also enjoy the subdued colors, what did you photograph? I have a photo that I would love to hear your comments on, it's called "Travel" if you get the time. .....Sherle

Fascinating... like a curtain about to open. Great pastel palate. This is an excellent addition to your motion portfolio!

great stuff here. No criticism but with this one I get a bit of a deja vu feeling thinking about that one you did of those trees a few months back, and yet it looks quite different. I keep telling you, you gotta start selling these man.

Pleasure to view, gives a same sort of feeling as pain killers when enjoyed in huge volumes ;D Have to ask which lense you used on this?

I do like this image with the vertical lines that are not parallels "fighting" between each other to creat some tension inside the frame. The melting texture and the almost neutral bright colors are also very beautiful. No I didn't drink, but at night sometimes my eyes do "see" things. And I really like this image. Regards

Sherle;

This is a bunch of tightly packed saplings coming up on the side of a recently built highway embankment. As I panned upward I also went from side to side and in this one frame the saplings end up folding over one another. Although it took a long time to respond to the comments on this image I did take a look and comment on your photo awhile back and it is a nice piece of work.

The image came out rather weashed and pastel so I went with it that way it seems to suite. I like your reference to a curtain. It had not occurred to me but once suggested, I can see it clearly.

Ton;

After awhile all my satuff starts to look the same :-) Seriously though the one I think you are referring to was a vertical pan up the trunk of a tree and this is a vertical pan of a group of small trees so your have good reason to see similarities.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I keep telling myself I should at least look into trying to market some of my work but I am always so much happier taking photos than I imagine I would be trying to sell them. I am also the worlds worst salesman.

Tero;

Yes I can see some of that brain wrapped in gauze, opiate stupor that comes from one Oxycontin too many, look in this one. The lens was a Canon 70 - 200 mm 2.8 IS USM at the wide end of the zoom. It was shot fairly open with a heavy ND filter. Soory about taking so long to get back to you.

Joachuim;

Thanks for sharing your vision. I love reading your description. The saplings are in the real world literally fighting with one another to get up and shade out the ones below. It is interesting that they end up conveying that fact in the image.
