triskelphotography 1 Posted July 15, 2008 I love the colors here and the motion of the propellers. Link to comment
manitas 0 Posted July 16, 2008 August, Great picture!! Would it be possible for you to find out the RPM of the props? If so, you could inject even more movement by setting your shutter speed to "sort-of" blur the propellers. Just a thought... Link to comment

k5083 1 Posted July 18, 2008 Glad you guys liked this. I personally thought that the four color bands of sky, trees, short and long grass, and the water highlights in the long grass made it one of my better pics of the weekend. David, one can only roughly estimate the rpms of the props, and most aeroplane snappers just use the slowest shutter speed they feel they can get away with. The engines were idling in this situation so getting a lot of blur would be tricky but I probably could have managed a little more. Link to comment
gnashings 5 Posted July 20, 2008 I go every year, this year - work prevented me from going (my friends went without me...) grrrrr! I sure missed it - glad I get to live vicariously through your photos. Link to comment
