lonebearimages 0 Posted July 22, 2008 You have a keen eye, as usual, for unique and very interesting compositions. This is very, very good. I love the range of tones in this too. You've done a superb job of exposing for the dark areas without losing the highlights. This is a very artistic photograph; and thanks for sharing with us. Congratulations! Cheers! aramat57 3 Posted July 23, 2008 Thank you Nezif and Chris. This is actually not the image I meant to upload! I have a straighter one that is a bit more cropped, but I am glad you like it crooked! This is a tiny old shed, deep in the thicket and trees. It does lean, and probably won't be standing in a couple more years. This shot was at mid-day, not the best lighting at all. chrisalmerini 0 Posted July 24, 2008 What I like about this image the mystery factor. Sure it could be cropped or straighten but the ackward angle of the window and the rustic/aged feel of the shed ties together. Maybe a polarizer could have helped with glare off the leaves but really me eye goes into the window and wants to see deeper inside- the mystery part for me. The feeling overcomes the any small short comings you may see. Chris Link to comment
