Simply a masterpiece!

Thank you Frank! As information about this shoot it was a really coold day in mars just around freezing point and I was standing about 50 meters out at low tide. It was the last shot for the night and the exposure was 8 minutes and as I waited for the time to elapse I was so coold that I had to jump up and down to keep me warm!

The symetry works perfectly - What works here is perhaps the tiny rocks one third of the screen bathed in the reflections of the sky. Another stunner.

Wow, what a striking photo. Your choice of a wide angle lens puts the small human component in context, and that makes for a very compelling image. The small patch of red in the clouds adds a lot, as well.

Beautiful shot. I love the cool colors of this time of day. The reflection is awesome, movement of the clouds perfect. Only thing I might of done different was clone out the lights in the horizon.
