I had major issues with catch lights in this image as well as the

veins underneath her skin as she is very fair. If anyone has any

suggestions I would love to hear from you. Thanks in advance.

You might try blurring the veins and the area around them. You also might try duplicating the image, blurring the duplicate slightly, overlaying it on the original, putting the overlay about 50% transparent, and cutting out the eyes and mouth from the overlay (this makes the eyes and mouth sharp and everything else smooth).
