Guest Guest Posted June 8, 2003 the clenched hands and the misshapen eyes are a little frigtening - the background is well chosen, as well as the wardrobe - this is a personal note, but the bracelet seems out of place on such a young child - but that's probably my personal point of view - in different places around the world, it might seem very natural Link to comment
marion_geralds 0 Posted June 8, 2003 I don't think I would like my child to wear the wooden shoes used in Asia either. Link to comment
marion_geralds 0 Posted June 21, 2003 The original remark yes, that's why I responded. We all have cultural biases. Most of us have the curtesy not to express them; particularly in regards to the evaluation of art. MY child wears a bracelet given to it by his Godfather. Link to comment
rrneto 0 Posted July 21, 2003 This is the best picture of your portfolio. Eye contact are much improved with his hands. The lack of colours for me is an advantage and fits the purity of the boy's age very well. Link to comment
marion_geralds 0 Posted September 2, 2003 Terry thank you. However it's often a matter of lens aperture and not of focus. Link to comment
jeff_smith3 0 Posted September 15, 2003 This is a family snapshot. I'm sure anyone who is fond of this child will enjoy it, but it conveys nothing to anyone else. Link to comment
marion_geralds 0 Posted September 16, 2003 Really Mr Smith? 21 people have rated it so far with 14 sevens or sixes and an average total of 5!! .... are they all stupid other than you? Link to comment
jeff d 1 Posted December 27, 2003 Appears that he is using a pretend camera to film you. Very cute. Nice soft tones. Too bad the eyes are shrouded. We love to see the eyes, and his are a little hidden. Nice work. Link to comment
marion_geralds 0 Posted December 27, 2003 Thanks Jeff. You've gone through a lot of trouble looking through my photos and made some very useful comments. I will bend down in future and stop cutting people's heads off! Link to comment
