Anse Blanchette

quite an enjoyable image. very nice balance of yellow to cooler hues. i guess the blue of the water is *so* pure that it's a bit distracting to me; is this a product of the blue/yellow polarizer? good use of thirds and (thanks to the architect as well as you) effective use of threes. nice work.

I just really like the picture. The colors are great and grabs you the first time you look at it.

Overall a very nice colorful shot. I really think you have the yellow-blue polarizer down. I am going to go get one after looking at your various shots. Regarding this photograph, I think the shoreline up top is a bit distracting. If it were cropped a little lower I think that may tighten up the photograph.

IMO this image has some excellent light, color and tone but suffers from mediocre cropping. The land mass on the upper left part of the image detracts from the overall composition and hurts the color harmonies.

A recrop as suggested would to me make it a very good rather than merely a good image.
