tachion 0 Posted July 10, 2008 The difficulty with "macro" photography is that we (as viewers) have gotten spoiled and are expecting to see perfect (as in perfectly crisp) focus. This is actually hard to do. Unfortunately, here the focus is off just enough to make a beautiful composition and nice moment into only a moderately interesting photo. I hope this does not sound overly critical of your work. If it was worthless, I would not bother to comment. Did you use a tripod? If not, that would probably be the biggest difference to being able to make this photo perfect. Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 307 Posted July 10, 2008 Macro should be always razor sharp at least in some important parts and this one lacks sharpness all the way! I'm not talking about the background, it should be as blurred as possible! Only with appropriate color, usually green on such pictures! PDE Link to comment
