I agree with the others, if anything I would like to see a tiny little bit more of the horse to put the photo in context. Very nice, Catherine.

Ditto on the crop comments. I am a fan of the desaturated look. The background is a bit noisy and some smoothing would make more appealing. Overall, nice job.

A beautiful capture. I agree that more horse rather than less would add to the story. The tones are perfect for the image - although if you can bring up her eyes at all so that there is more detail (and maybe a little catchlight?) I think it would greatly improve the overall "stay and linger and look" power of the image... beautiful all the same.
