It's appropriate that you use the word "soul" in the title. This is a portrait that does allow the viewer to peer into the soul. Exceptional work.

the soft feeling and the expression are wonderful. the placement of the subject in the picture space seems unbalanced, though, and I can't quite get comfortable with the finger. still . . . what a face !!!

There is purity and integrity here,Verna. I'm finally starting to shoot more children,thanks to you. And as coach of two aquatic teams, I have about 300 kids at my disposal...with a vast majority of them being natural hams!!!

The image is shot in nice light, but is soft in a way that I think detracts from the overall aesthetic, especially in the eyes. The thumbnail is inviting and I think looks better than the larger image. The thumb looks very good.
