Guest Guest Posted September 15, 2002 I dare rate you again:-).... Verna, this portrait is really lovely,I like the face popping out from the dark background and the tight cropping.Anna Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted September 15, 2002 It's appropriate that you use the word "soul" in the title. This is a portrait that does allow the viewer to peer into the soul. Exceptional work. Link to comment
root 0 Posted September 16, 2002 the soft feeling and the expression are wonderful. the placement of the subject in the picture space seems unbalanced, though, and I can't quite get comfortable with the finger. still . . . what a face !!! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted September 16, 2002 There is purity and integrity here,Verna. I'm finally starting to shoot more children, thanks to you. And as coach of two aquatic teams, I have about 300 kids at my disposal...with a vast majority of them being natural hams!!! Link to comment

vishwas_a_h 0 Posted September 17, 2002 Very cute....but it would be better if the fading out was uniform at all edges...i.e.. if there was no white frame!!! Link to comment
lalit 0 Posted September 19, 2002 I would like the picture sharper..but it is my openion Link to comment
jay_dixon 0 Posted September 20, 2002 The image is shot in nice light, but is soft in a way that I think detracts from the overall aesthetic, especially in the eyes. The thumbnail is inviting and I think looks better than the larger image. The thumb looks very good. Link to comment
